Description

  • The Veer is an semi-open species
    • This means, that you can make your own without any closed traits.

  • You can make Veer adopts, but only i can make ones with closed traits.
    • Veer adopts will not be for profit, unless you've talked with me, the creator, about it.

  • Veer traits (Still a WIP)
  • Until i can get everything written down, you can refer to some of the questions asked about the species here
  • More info (TBA)
Veers are generally genderless, but has adopted various ways of identifying from across many worlds.

//temporary info//
1. When you way the halo has to be an existing shape, what do you mean?
When i say an existing shape, i mean as in a shape that already has a meaning in cultures. It has to exist before the Veer, and has to have a significant meaning in the world around it. A halo is not created 'for' the Veer, the Veer is created 'for' the symbol, if that makes any sense? I'm still trying to figure out how Veers are crated, but my idea at the moment is, that they simply pop into existence, with the symbol being their only guidance as to what they are meant to be. That's why a lot of Veers have halos that match their personality, since the basic idea that already exits in the halo, guides the Veer to what it will be. (Wow i'm so sorry if what i write makes no sense XD) So basically, any already existing symbols, like Ankhs, alchemical symbols, pentagrams, etc.

2. What happens if a Veer tries to touch its halo? Or another Veer's halo?
A Veer can't touch it's own halo. It will simply go through, making the halo almost ghost like, in a way. They will feel uncomfortable, but other than that nothing will happen? If a Veer tries to touch another Veers halo, it will do the same, except the touched Veer will feel nauseous and unwell the second something touches the halo. It's an extension of themselves, so it will also be an uncomfortable experience for the other Veer to touch anothers halo as well, though it's more of a common courtesy to just don't do it.

3. Do Veer communicate telepathically? Can they see from the mask?
Veers see from their mask yes. Even though they don't have eyes their sight is almost as good as a human, but able to look further and sharper than any normal eye. They see slightly different from us, by being able to see more of the lights wavelength and being able to 'see' the rifts in out universe that leads to and from The Library.
They communicate through a mix of telepathy and vocal noises. The vocal noises are done through telepathy as well, but makes it sound like they come from a specific location and bounces of the objects around them. They have their own language, but it's more of a mix of different languages from all over the universes, since their culture has been influenced by everything they've been in contact with.

4. Do Veer have a naming system?
No not really, but they love to borrow names of famous people or characters from different universes (They are suckers for attention and love to dress up and act as gods)

5. Can the Mark be any color, or just black?
The mark can be either black or white. The mark only becomes white if the Veer has been inches away from death but survives. It's an open trait, but the near death thing has to be a significant thing in their bio.

More info will come!
